The iconic image of Rome and the beautiful country is one of those destinations that those who love to travel put at the top of the list of places to visit. Still according to the same ranking, the Vatican Museums and Piazza San Marco in Venice are the other two destinations in Italy most desired by tourists from all over the world. The Tripadvisor ranking that concerns all the destinations of the planet, in addition to the Louvre in the top ten are the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower and the Sagrada Familia.

The best way to experience Rome Reviewed on 3 may 2013 NEW   I rarely write reviews but had to write this one since I feel that sincerity and hard work should never go unrecognized. Last January, my husband and I planned the impossible….we planned a trip to Italy with 4 adults, our two set of parents and an infant! While trying to arrange tours, we came across Max in tripadvisor. He stood out since not only was he prompt with his replies but he also made several suggestions which saved us money. Such honesty was definitely not easy to find. We decided to entrust him with our rome night tour and imperial rome tour.

“No other way to see Rome than with Max!”   Reviewed on August 20th 2012   This was our first trip to Italy and it exceeded every expectation. We had a two-day tour of Rome with Max and it was so enjoyable. I couldn’t imagine our trip to be so complete without this tour. In only two days, we got to see all the highlights of Rome.   We were traveling with my 76-year old grandma and Max was very accomodating. He was able to go at our pace while still being able to share all the history of the city with us. He knows all the short cuts, best parking spots for short walks, and special places of the city to share with us. Max is very knowledgable about all things Italy and is just very pleasant to be around. We didn’t have to wait in lines and were in good hands with Max. This was our first time to Italy and my children’s first time to Europe. I planned very cautiously and asked around for referrals and for advice from friends that had recently gone to Italy with their families. Max was the most highly recommended of all. I knew that hiring a private tour guide was the way to go, especially since it was not that much more than doing the cruise line’s excursions. So I knew right away that it was well, well worth it to pay a little extra to have a private tour. Boy, was I right. We just returned from a two day tour with Max. We had such a good time, we wanted to write an immidiate review. Traveling with a nine and twelve year old is challenging at best. Max not only entertained our girls, he is a walking history lesson. His knowledge is vast, and his passion for Rome is contagious. His use of an IPad kept our girls intrigued, as he was able to give them both a mental and visual explanation of each attraction. Did I mention that he was just plain FUN!!!!!!! Rome in a day was everything we hoped and was so much more than we expected. Max makes the tour come to life with his willingness to share his in-dept knowledge of the history and art of Rome.
