After the great success of the last edition, come back the extraordinary openings of the Renaissance Villa in Tivoli, with its suggestive garden in the unique atmosphere created by the enlightening and water reflected light.
If you have never visited this Unesco site, this summer could be the perfect occasion. From July 3 to September 12 every Friday and Saturday Villa d’Este opens also at night-time, from 8 pm till midnight. During the night openings, besides visiting the enchanting garden, you can discover also the interior rooms and the exhibition ““Zeffirelli. L’arte dello spettacolo”. But is not all…classic concerts, orchestras and cultural expositions with eminent figures.
A rich calendar of events in an elegant frame not to be missed.

CASTEL SANT’ANGELO summer nights

Walking through the “lungotevere” you’ will surely notice the impressive Castel Sant’Angelo.
And if we told you that now you can visit its museums? Yes, from July 2 to September 6, the national museum of Castel S. Angelo is open on summer evenings from 8.30 pm to 01.00 am, as part of the fifth annual “Notti d’Estate” event. You will admire areas usually closed to the public such as the Passetto di Borgo, an 800m-long escape passage linking the former papal fortress to the Vatican. Besides the tours, there are classical and jazz concerts, a photographic exhibit and a tribute to Dante’s poetry. The cherry on the top is the panoramic view of the Eternal City from the restaurant.
