Sperlonga

This ancient village castled on the Aurunci Mountains is located on the coast between Terracina and Gaeta and overlooks the sea, in particular the “Angolo” beach, offering a wide and stunning view. The village preserves its ancient roots with white little houses, narrow alleys, steep staircases and arches in casbah style, for a real jump back in time. The beach is very beautiful too, with its fine sand that in places gives way to some rocks that have a very wild charm. Stop by the small port where you could admire the ancient watchtower “Truglia”. Another must-see of Sperlonga is the gorgeous grotto that the Emperor Tiberius turned into an exclusive resort with communicating pools and precious statues.

Like a little raft it hosts a lovely and tiny village, one of the smallest Italian municipalities.
