Ruins, rubble, shame, 70 years after the bombing of Rome
ROME – From 19 to 21 July there is the photographic exhibition “Ruine, rubble shame!” to seventy years after the bloodiest bombings that struck Rome: 4,000 bombs were dropped on the city resulting in about 3,000 deaths and 11,000 wounded The organizer of the exhibition, music and the Association of Rome and the Circolo Gianni Bosio. The collection presents Grammaroli in the exhibition which will be held in the Palace Pasta Ceres (II floor, via the Ausoni) a selection of over sixty photographs and printing documents that provide an overview of San Lorenzo of those days. It is unusual materials to broaden the understanding iconographic neighborhood life during the war. “The association Historical shops of Rome has always been focused on the preservation of the memory of the city of Rome more constructive” says Giulio Anticoli, president of the association.
