The class represents an exceptional Quantum leap into the future. The Quantum class will be launched in the autumn of 2014 with the launch of the Quantum of the Seas, followed by her sister Anthem of the Seas in the spring of 2015. Quantum ships have 18 decks, have a gross registered tonnage of 167,800 tons, are capable of carrying 4,180 guests in rooms with two occupants and offer 2,090 rooms. Quantum of the Seas will leave New York sailing from home port of Cape Liberty and follow routes from 7-12 nights during the winter 2014/15.
