The New Rome Food Culture

Rome is not only about art, monuments and history, it is also about food culture.

A new wave that puts in the middle food, but using it in a modern way, mixing it with design and re-elaborating tradition to create new trends, new ways of consumption, new types of venues. New tastes then, but also new formats, capable to renew the classic food communication standards and forms. Incredibly interesting, due that Italy strongest point is definitely food and it’s about time that this great resource could make Italy raise to demand its supremacy in the field.
Let’s start from the event “This Is Food”, a new project that celebrates the “pop cuisine”, the top-flight realities that grow and innovate the gastronomic city scene. This is food doesn’t follow renowned chefs, but creativity and courage of the new protagonists of the urban scenario that know how to conciliate the language of taste with the ones of design, marketing and style. The last event took place the 20th february at Officine Farneto, and there are new dates incoming. A whole paragraph should be dedicated to the incredibly evocative location.
Dj sets, delicious food, a lot of interesting people. Can’t miss it.

DOLCE
