Easter weekend in Italy, where can I save money?
The long weekend is becoming the ideal holiday for Italians, eager to relax but also to reduced charges. Given that one of the Passover is coming, the Center for Studies Casa.it has prepared an analysis of the average weekly fee to lease a furnished apartment of 70 sqm for 4 people (February 2013 data) of the main resorts, from coast of the peninsula to the cities of art.
The result? Reward especially cities that have lowered the standards of the apartments compared to 2012, with peaks of growth in double digits.
The research highlights the location of Liguria and Tuscany, where the apartments showed a cost per square meter in sharp decline compared to 2012, which led to an increase in demand even higher, facilitated by absolute prices fairly low.
A trend observed in most of the cities of Liguria, where differ mainly Levanto, which records prices decreased by 5.2% compared to 2012, Diano Marina and Arenzano where the weekly fee of around € 280 is among the lowest in Italy.Three factors that also rely on a little further south, on the Tuscan coast, where stands out above Camaiore rents content (about 420 euro) and declining by 3.5% led to an increase in demand of 9.3%. Tuscany and Liguria also stars in the ranking of the provinces most popular, with a podium composed of Lucca and Grosseto Imperia.
Adriatic tourist market marks a strong recovery around the city of Venice Lido to the flow will be higher by 10.2% compared to 2012 and Jesolo 8, 5%, without a significant reduction in the royalties week. The trend of the lagoon city is also respected for the rental of luxury apartments, where the demands are increasing by 5.5% despite the decrease in record royalties and maintain around 1100 Euros.
Well, Venice, Rome and Florence better. In the capital increase in demand record (+12.4%), despite a price increase of 9.2%. In Florence, the trend is the same and the data is only slightly lower: in spite of the apartments costing 4.5% more tourists will be on 8, 6% more than last year.
Do not fit this trend Palermo (requests down 2.5%) and Italy (-3.5%), which is involved in the sharp decline that involves the whole Campania Capri -9.3% and -8.6% in Ischia. In contrast Anacapri (+9.4%) and Amalfi (+7.4%), where the cost of real estate is second only to Portofino (1,200 euro), which recorded a decline of inflows instead of 4.8%. Among the other top resorts there were no significant changes except for a slight decrease in the Alps in South Tyrol and Veneto: Selva di Val Gardena and Cortina d’Ampezzo that mark a -2.2% attendance.
In the South, data globally stable: for a long weekend with only assured Italians choose the Apulian coast, where the cost of the apartments is the lowest in Italy: 270 euro in Otranto and 280 in Rhodes Town, locations that show an increase of requests for rent by 7.2% and 3.5% compared to Easter 2012.
