DigitRoma Connects You with the City
The new DigitRoma is a network of public wi-fi hotspots in 176 locations around the city that will allow locals and tourists to surf the Internet free of charge for up to 4 hours a day.
The free wi-fi available to registered users (registering takes only a few minutes) will allow them to consult for as long as they like and at no charge all the institutional websites as well as the sites of the main companies in which Roma Capitale has a stake simply by clicking on ‘Roma sul web’.
In addition, the geographical location function associated with the section ‘Intorno a te’ (Around You) will tell you everything the city has to offer within a radius of 500 metres of your hotspot. Over 50,000 items of information are updated in real time and separated into the following categories: sleeping, eating and drinking, culture and leisure, events and entertainment, services and general info, mobility and transport and, of course, the location of the hotspots available to users.
