Spoleto

Let’s start again with Spoleto. This tiny town in Umbria region inhabited since prehistory is used to be also an important Ancient Rome center. You could admire in fact ancient constructions as the Roman Theatre and the Roman amphitheater. One of the most interesting attractions is without a doubt The Temple of Clitumnus, a small paleochristian church that sits along the banks of the Clitunno River and part of UNESCO World Heritage Site from 2011.

Now we want to make you discover Arezzo, in Tuscany, presenting unique landscapes where natural works of art mix harmoniously with historic heritage and artistic masterpieces. Must-see are Piazza Grande, the city wall, the Communal Palace and the Roman Amphitheatre. Remarkable and numerous are churches. We have to mention Santa Maria della Pieve and the unfinished Cathedral of Saint Donatus in Gothic style.

Third stage of our trip is Cagliari in the gorgeous Sardinia, a melting pot of cultures and styles with a clear sea and various attractions to visit, reflecting its different historical dominions and built on seven calcareous hills corresponding to seven neighborhoods. A city with a thousand of years history and administrative center of the island, arises on golfo degli Angeli and stretches out around the hill of the historical Castello neighborhood.

Salerno

Here we are in Salerno, lovely city of Campania region. Located on the Gulf of Salerno on the Tyrrhenian Sea, it has been continuously settled since pre-historical times so it boasts important attractions and a rich history and art heritage. To not mention its landscapes beauties, the fairy-tale Amalfi Coast, an heaven on hearth made of various amazing little towns each of which presents some peculiarities and wonders, from sea to old town center.

Brescia

In Lombardy region, not far from Milan, we can find Brescia, immersed in a natural scenario where unique landscape beauties mix with important archaeological, artistic and historic sites. Its province territory extends from Po valley to Val Trompia and can boast marvellous lakes (Garda, Iseo) and valleys. The city in itself has fantastic monuments and attractions that will take you back to Middle Ages or other ancient eras: the Castle of Brescia, Old Cathedral, New Cathedral, to end with the astonishing Panorama view of Brescia.

Last but not least the fascinating Trento, dominated by its impressive Castello del Buonconsiglio, surrounded by strong walls, one of the greatest monuments in the area. For this jewel of Trenitno region Renaissance influence is outstanding for instance in the Piazza del Duomo, then Palazzo Pretorio and the Cathedral of San Vigilio, the venues for the well-known Council of Trent. The view from the castle is touching and allows to see its towers, walls and fortifications of the medieval city.
