Signori e Signore, Ladies and Gentlemen, Mesdames et Messieurs, from whichever part of the world your clients come from, we invite you to offer them a magical journey that will lead them through the heart of imperial Rome in 310 AD, faithfully reconstructed and brought to life in 3D, thanks to the more than 10 years of research carried out by a group of archaeologists and historians coordinated by the University of California, Los Angeles.
Born from the interest in history and ancient cultures of Bernard Frischer, an American professor from the University of Virginia, the archaeological model of Rome in 310 AD was developed by Virtuality srl with the help of a group of international experts and through the research and modelling work of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
The structure, with its modern technology and special effects, was developed with faithful adherence to Prof. Frischer’s aim, which was to ensure that the scenery and images of 3D Rewind Rome adhere as nearly as possible to the actual appearance of the original imperial Forum of ancient Rome. Spread over more than 3 thousand square metres, following accurately defined virtual walks, you’ll find 7000 buildings, all carefully reconstructed with full detail. So much so, that the 3D film is worth at least a second viewing in order to fully appreciate its perfection.
From the dampness of Emperor Commodus’ tunnel, to the perfectly reconstructed walls decorated with amazing frescoes, from the darkness that swallows up the breath of the gladiators to the symbols that make this civilisation eternal: all of this together makes 3D Rewind Rome the most amazing journey you ever thought to make, deep into the heart of ancient history. Rome isn’t Rome without 3D Rewind Rome. Our young and professional multilingual staff is ready to greet tour groups, school groups or individual families.
Visits are possible 365 days of the year with departures every 15 minutes, from 9.00 to 19.00 with a maximum number of 70 people at a time. Multilingual audio guides (Italian, French, English, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese) and three-dimensional glasses are available for the duration of the tour. Our structure also has a cafe’, toilets, disabled access, a gift shop and a specialised bookshop.
