Our tour in the very heart of Rome starts with one of the largest baroque fountains and a very symbol of the city, Trevi Fountain. One of the most famous in the world, the fountain has appeared in several notable films, including Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. After this first stage our tour goes on towards the majestic Pantheon. The best preserved monument of ancient Rome, the Pantheon, is a 2000-year-old temple. Become now Christian church, in the temple you can see the oculus, an 8.7 meters opening in the dome, through which light enters in a spectacular way. After this evocative sight, our itinerary continues in the direction of the Spanish Steps, one of the most representative images of Rome in the world. It is a monumental Staircase of 135 steps at the feet of Pincio, from which you can cherish a stunning view of the whole City.

With a single walking tour you will be able to visit some of the most important Rome’s attractions, with a pleasant promenade through the city’s alleys. We have created this special itinerary, well-thought to let you see the main landmarks of the old town center, just in few hours. Live the city as a real roman does and discover all its secrets losing yourself in the heart of the eternal city.

But our tour doesn’t stop yet. Let’s head towards the fascinating Navona Square. Navona Square is one of the most famous squares of Rome. Its elliptical form follows the structure of an ancient stadium, in fact it rises up on the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian after the emperor who commissioned it, and was inaugurated in 86 AD. It includes several fountains: Fountain of the Four Rivers (designed by the great Bernini), Fountain of Neptune and Moor Fountain. Campo de Fiori, literally “field of flowers” has never been architecturally formalized and remained a focus for commercial and street culture. It is located in the south part of Navona Square.

Walking tour locations: Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Chigi, Palazzo Montecitorio

A chapter aside of our tour is dedicated to Government Buildings. Rich residences and luxurious noble houses in Rome, then become seats and symbols of italian politics. Some of their rooms are still decorated with sumptuous furniture, mirrors and paintings. They are respectively become seat of the Italian Senate, the seat of the Prime Minister, and the seat of the Chamber of Deputies.
