Ferrara Balloons Festival 2015, 11th-20th September
The most important Balloon Festival in Italy and one of the most prestigious in Europe, in the beautiful setting of Bassani Urban Park. Multicoloured, handicraft and special shapes of air balloons flying free for a spectacular competition between 30 teams from Italy and abroad. The hot air balloons competition takes place twice a day: at 7,30 AM and at 5 PM and during the day will be organized also sport events, artistic and musical activities.
Venice Film Festival 2nd-12th of September
The Festival was founded in 1932 and is the oldest film festival in the world as well as one of the most prestigious and famous. The festival takes place from 2nd to 12th of September in several wonderful venues including the historic Palazzo del Cinema. Rome Film Fest, 16-24th October
Also for its tenth edition the Rome Film Fest that, held from October 16 to 24, 2015, confirms as main venue the Auditorium Parco della Musica and its open-air theatre called Cavea. For ten days the building designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano will be the headquarter of journalists, hosting screening, exhibitions, events, conferences, debates about cinema. An unmissable event for cinema fonds.
Cous Cous Festival, 18-27th September
Every year in San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani (Sicily) takes place an interesting food event that permit to people from all over the world to know each other, talking about a simple but very tasty dish. Every year famous chefs land in Sicily to cook together original recipes of cous cous surrounded by people flocked there also for cultural events, cooking workshops, and seminars; while in the evening, in the main square of San Vito Lo Capo you can find live music and shows.
