Your personal driver will meet you at the exit of your cruise ship, holding a sign with your last name, marking the beginning of an unforgettable excursion. You’ll journey past the base of the volcano Mt Vesuvius, traverse the city of Pompei, and pass through various villages. Upon reaching Pompei, you’ll have approximately two hours to explore the ruins of this ancient Roman town, boasting 2500 years of history and renowned as the best-preserved site of its kind.
After your independent exploration, you’ll reunite with your driver for the journey to Sorrento. The driver will pause at the main square, granting you an hour to wander the historical center. Navigate the charming grid of old streets, marvel at intriguing architecture, visit churches, and explore attractions like limoncello factories, leather shops, and inlaid woodwork shops.
Continuing along the Amalfi Coast, you’ll proceed to Positano. Capture breathtaking scenery along the way and, upon arrival, experience the vertical town where houses cascade atop each other. The renowned road is considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives. Your driver will take you to the farthest accessible point, allowing exploration of pedestrian alleys with local seamstresses’ works, art galleries, and a waterfront adorned with typical local restaurants and the captivating view of the steepest “hill of houses.” Following this enchanting visit, your driver will guide you back to the ship.
