Taormina and Mt. Etna From Naxos Port Sharing Tour

Our proposal is a visit to the Greco-Roman theater, the Cathedral and IX Aprile Square with its enchanting terrace overlooking Mt. Etna and Naxos bay.  Our tour starts from the port of Giardini di Naxos, a bay which lies between Cape Taormina and Cape Schisò that has become a renowned seaside resort. Let’s go towards Taormina, that is all about atmosphere and glam, so you cannot miss taking a stroll along the main street. Then you can have a break eating a granite (sorbet) at a cafe along the street and, of course, to do some shopping in the famous boutiques of the city. In addition, you can ask us to reserve a table for a lunch in the town’s seaside area of Letojanni.

Driving up Mount Etna, the majestic mountain (10.000 feet) which is also the most active volcano in Europe, you will have the chance to explore a territory with no equal in the world: from the villages by the mountain’s foot to the lava quarries, the woods of oaks and chestnuts cut through by ancient as well as recent lava flows, to the lava desert, a lunar landscape of magnetic fascination.
