“No other way to see Rome than with Max!”
Reviewed on August 20th 2012This was our first trip to Italy and it exceeded every expectation. We had a two-day tour of Rome with Max and it was so enjoyable. I couldn’t imagine our trip to be so complete without this tour. In only two days, we got to see all the highlights of Rome.
We were traveling with my 76-year old grandma and Max was very accomodating. He was able to go at our pace while still being able to share all the history of the city with us. He knows all the short cuts, best parking spots for short walks, and special places of the city to share with us. Max is very knowledgable about all things Italy and is just very pleasant to be around.
We didn’t have to wait in lines and were in good hands with Max. Having a private tour guide, we were able to engage and ask lots of questions and never felt unconfortable or have to worry about getting lost in a new,foreign city.

Max served not only as a tour guide, but was truly happy to show us around the city you can tell he loves. He knows the history behind everything, literally everything! all the statues, churches, and ruins. Max carries his iPad around with him to show pictures about how buildings used to look in their hay-day to compare to what they are now.
This really helps picture how beautiful the city was and how well it is preserved. I had an great time in Rome and it wouldn’t have been the same without Max as our tourguide! Highly, highly, highly recomend Max! Next time we go back to Italy (& we will because we tossed our coin into the Trevi Fountain), we’ll have Max dazzle us again!
