I have been to Rome twice, both times with wonderful Max to show me the ins and outs of Rome! The first time I went in 2008 with my parents and three brothers (ages 13-18, myself at 15), and Max toured us around Rome. We only had two days in Rome, one for the Vatican City and the other for the rest of the sights. Max did a wonderful job highlighting every part of Rome, allowing my family and I to see all of the beauty of the city. His vast knowledge of the city engaged us in great conversation and he had facts to share only true Romans could tell. His tour of the Vatican was magnificent, making evert part of the museums more and more interesting. He made every part of our trip to Rome extremely special and memorable which is why in March 0f 2012 for my second trip to Rome, this time only with my mother, we had to have Max as our tour guide again! Not only does he know Rome extremely well, but this time around he drove us from Rome to Sorrento with a stop in Pompeii. We toured Pompeii and then had a great lunch with Max in a small town, Seiano. The best part about being with Max is that he knows all of the local secrets. He brought us to great restaurants this trip, and our first trip, where the locals go, and we could feel like we fit in perfect with the Italians!
Max is an unbelievable tour guide. His interaction with the kids and adults is so much fun, and his knowledge about Italy is so large, there’s not a question that goes unanswered! Both of my trips would not have been so amazing if it wasn’t for Max, and I will never do Italy for another time without having another great and unforgettable experience with Max!
