From Monday to Friday experience the heart of Italian chocolate beats in a fascinating place rich in history. It is the Casa del Cioccolato Perugina, a unique place in the world, a few kilometers from the center of Perugia, where anyone can breathe chocolate emotions and make a real journey. A place in which to live a unique experience and discover all the secrets of “food for the gods”.

The journey starts from the Historical Museum, where you can discover and be enchanted by the history of Perugina. He continues with the factory (Fabbrica), the laboratory where the creations are born, and with the School of Chocolate, the ideal place for fans, where Perugina shares his passion of all time and his creative art with all chocolate lovers. Let us know if you prefer to have a private tour of the factory or experience the school of chocolate. If you like both we can try to book both for you. This is an extra cost you will pay once you will be at the chocolate factory.

Ticket cost:

Full price: € 9, reduced € 7 (from 13 to 17 years, groups of 10 people onwards, accompanying people with disabilities and over 65).

Reduced from 6 to 12 years: € 4.

Free up to 5 years and disabled.

School children: 0-5 years free, elementary and middle school € 3, high school € 5.

After the Chocolate factory your driver will take to Perugia to visit the central area. We can arrange a local tour guide in advance for you.

Perugia, a well-known artistic centre with an history that goes back to the Etruscan period. Perugia is also home of a very famous painter, Pietro Vannucci, nicknamed Perugino. Teacher of Raphael, the great Renaissance artist, Perugino decorated the local Sala del Cambio with a beautiful series of frescoes; eight of his pictures can also be admired in the National Gallery of Umbria. Another famous painter, Pinturicchio, lived in Perugia and realized the city symbol, the Griffin, which can be seen in the form of plaques and statues on the buildings around the city. The city is also known as a university town, with the University of Perugia (about 34,000 students) and for the annual festivals and events as: the Euro chocolate Festival (October), the Umbria Jazz Festival, and the International Journalism Festival (April).
