Twenty April: Christmas in Rome. This year will be spring 2766. And the city celebrates the giving themselves a blast from the past, through the exhibition which will be held in Palazzo Braschi until next September 15, Common Places. English landscape painters in Rome between the eighteenth and nineteenth century graphic works of the Museum of Rome.
On display there will be about seventy works, including watercolors and engravings, which give us images of a distant past Rome, revisited through the eyes and Sensibilia foreign artists who came this far by following the paths of refined Grand Tour, attracted by the suggestion of its ruins and the picturesque charm of the rural world that surrounded them. Among them the Scot Richard Cooper, a master of aquatint, Edward Lear, author of numerous lithographs, and Arthur John Strutt, with its romantic views of the Roman countryside.
