ROME – Monday May 20, at 11:30 am, will take place at Castel Sant’ Angelo in the presentation given to the media preview of the exhibition “Masterpieces of archeology – recoveries, findings, comparisons,” which will open to the public from May 21 to 10 November 2013.
The exhibition is organized by the European Centre for Tourism, chaired by Joseph Lepore, and the Superintendence for the Historical, artistic and ethno-anthropological heritage of the city of Rome, directed by daniela leek, in collaboration with the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities.
Curated by Maria Grazia Bernardini and Mario lolli Ghetti, and by a prestigious scientific committee chaired by Eugenio La Rocca, the exhibition presents a series of archaeological masterpieces recovered the weapon of the police, financial police and the state police.
In the afternoon, at 18.00 opening ceremony of the exhibition, in the presence of the Minister for Heritage and cultural activities, representatives of public institutions, authorities’ religious, political and administrative.
