More than 100 artists, over 3000 works : back in the street painters Margutta , the event “One hundred painters Margutta ” arrived this year’s 94th edition . Everything is ready , therefore , the appointment and ‘ for Thursday at 18 in the historical town hall with the President of The Sabrina Alfonsi, in charge of cutting the
tape.
The tradition of this exhibition came back in the autumn of 1953 , on the initiative of some spontaneous painters who in the immediate post-war period
together and decided to give life and color to a road that had always been a natural refuge for painters, sculptors , poets, musicians and craftsmen.
Also this year there will be a large representation of foreign painters : ” These artists represent for us an enrichment of the exhibition ,” says Alberto Vespaziani , president of the ‘ Association hundred painters Margutta and editor “that is why we are always ready to welcome them. We hope that the ‘ council face always grow the historic association and that will allow us to enrich and grow again. “
The exhibition will be held in Margutta October 10 to 13 ( from 10 -21 hours , free admission).
