Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By using the Site, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Rates include official tour guide for 4 hours in the Rome in one day Tour to visit the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums and 6 hours ( 3 hours each day ) for the Rome in two days tour to visit the ancient Rome and the Vatican Museums. The Mercedes Minivan and the Driver for the Rome in one day tour and Rome in two days tour are included for the entire day. Read Carefully point 9 please.
  2. We do not have any travel agencies commission.
  3. The Tour can be cancelled 3 days before the date. If is not done in these terms, our company reserves the right to debit the “no show fee” on your credit card which is the total amount of requested services.
  4. Free Cancellation: For a full refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours before the experience’s start time. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 72 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. 
  5. The Skip the lines tickets for the colosseum, the Vatican Museums, Pompeii, the Uffizi in Florence, The accademia gallery and all the tickets in general are Not refundable. We will keep 50€ for each colosseum ticket and 50€ for each vatican museum ticket. We will send you a copy of your tickets at your email address in case of cancellation.
  6. Italy rome tour pays 3.5% of tax to stripe which are immediately charged once payment is made by the customer on our site. This percentage in case of cancellation of the service will not be refunded under any circumstances to the customer, as well as the cost of the tickets.
  7. If the tour remains bookable online on our website but our offices after verifying the unavailability of the same, has the right to refund the customer instantly or 24 hours after booking and having verified the overbooking status. We will send you 100% Refund in this case.
  8. PLEASE NOTE: Once we receive a new booking, in few hours we will get the skip the lines tickets to offer the best service to our customers. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. If tickets have already been purchased when you choose to cancel or change your tour date, you will be financially responsible for the tickets purchased by Italy Rome Tour Company (payment will be automatically processed to the credit card provided at the time of booking) and unfortunately they will no longer be valid for your tour/service.
  9. IMPORTANT: ALL OUR SERVICES AND TOURS INCLUDES ALL THE TAXES.
  10. In case of unavailability of our mercedes minivans the tour will be carried out regularly by our tour guides. The total cost of the tour will include the cost of Taxis or UBER if necessary. Please read your reservation carefully in the inclusions and exclusions section once you receive the voucher from our office.
  11.  If you want to change the date of the tour is possible, but you’ll need new tickets. The date of the tour can be changed 3 days in advance. The extra cost of the tickets has to be paid with credit card. Our office will send you a payment request via pay pal or credit card or you can pay the new tickets in cash the day of the tour to your tour guide or driver guide. In order to provide the highest level of service with our Best Tour guides and guaranteed tour schedules, amendments or changes require 72 hours minimum notice, and are subject to ticket availability for the new date. Italy Rome Tour® will make every effort to accommodate your request whenever possible.
  12. Transfers by taxi and lunch are not included.
  13. The tours has to be confirmed 14 days in advance. For last minute tour 7 days in advance. To confirm the service we need a valid card number, VISA, MASTERCARD OR AMERICAN EXPRESS. You can book the tours on-line. 
  14. NOTE: The total Payments will be charged at the time of Booking your tour online on our web site. Tours purchased with less than 7 Days notice ( under 7 days ) may not be available. Contact our office at italyrometour@gmail.com to book your tour.
  15. The above-mentioned amount will be deducted from the service cost at the same time the total payment is carried out.
  16. Payments Includes all the Taxes and the cost of the skip the Lines tickets.

  18. IMPORTANT: The Vatican Museums are closed on sundays, except the last of the months. On this day we DO NOT arrange any tour of the Vatican Museums because the entrance is free and is not possible to skip the lines.
  19. COMPLAINTS
    If a Client has a complaint against the Company, the Client must first inform the company at the earliest opportunity to allow the grievance to be rectified before any public display of the matter.
  20. Italy Rome Tour has the right to cancel and refund the customer within 24 hours in case of overbooking or unavailability of our services.
  21. IMPORTANT: For this day trip: From Rome to Capri VIP Private Boat Tour

    More than 14 days before the rental, you are refunded. Less than 14 days before the rental or no show, no refund is possible FOR ANY REASON.
    In case of bad weather we reschedule the trip or cancel with no fee.

Re-scheduled Tour Policy

  1. If the ship / plane / train does not arrive into the port / airport / station, this would not have been the client’s fault. We will charge the entire cost of the tour and the tickets.
  2. The tour will be automatically re-scheduled once the boat / plane / station is in the port / airport / station.
  3. Is possibile to re-schedule the tour 7 days before the date the customer have confirmed the tour. The extra cost will be just for the new tickets and reservations. Under 7 days is not possible to re-schedule any tour for any reason.
  4. The SKIP THE LINES TICKETS are Not Refundable. Customers need to pay extra fees for the skip the lines tickets for the tours when you re-scheduled it.
  5. Italy Rome Tour won’t charge you for the cost of the tour only the first time the tour is re-scheduled. We will charge you for the Vatican Museums and Colosseum tickets indeed. Is not possible to re-schedule any tours under 3 days.
  6. If customers show up the second time is not possible to re-schedule any tour even for missing flight or any other issue involve travelers.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the tour 3 days in advance we’ll refund you but not for the tickets. Colosseum tickets cost 50€ Per person and the Vatican Museum Tickets cost 50€ per person.

Payment will be made at the moment of Booking. We remind you that we do accept Credit Cards payment VISA, MASTERCARD or AMEX. Cancellation notice must be received by us at least 3 days prior to arrival date. The tours can be cancelled 3 days in advance. If is not done in these terms, our company reserves the right to keep the balance you’ve paid. No show fee will be applied under 3 days communication. The skip the lines tickets are Not refundable.

Please note:

Once a Product has been purchased, your Booking cannot be changed by you or cancelled with a full refund, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions applicable to such Product. We will full refund you 3 days in advance but not for the Tickets we will purchase and reserve as we receive a new booking.

The standard cancellation policy allows you to request a change 7 days in advance or to cancel a Booking up until 72 hours ( 3 days ) before the start time of the Booking; or if the Experience does not have an explicit start time, the deadline to request a change or to cancel will generally be 72 hours, 3 days before the start date. Timings are calculated in accordance with the time zone of Italy in Europe. You’ll need to pay the cost of the new tickets.

15.3 In all circumstances, you must check the cancellation policy contained in the applicable Product listing at the time of your Booking, which is the policy that will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds.

All Change Requests shall be processed by Italy Rome Tour subject to the availability and agreement. Italy Rome Tour does guarantee the success of any Change Request. If you will request a change of date we will need to purchase new tickets and we will charge you only for the New skip the lines tickets if available. It’s Not possible to change the date of the tour under 3 days.

The Ports

If the cruise ship doesn’t dock due to any reason, It’s not Your fault and you’ll be not charged, However, the tour will be automatically re-scheduled once the ship is in the port, if you are still on board obviously.
A fee would be charged if the tour was cancelled for any other reason within the 3 days cancellation period. From Civitavecchia port the rate includes mercedes minivan and drive guide. Vatican Tour guide is NOT included for the Best of Rome from Civitavecchia.
Once you fill out our reservation form and insert your credit card information, you are legally bound to a contract with us.

From the Airports

ITALY ROME TOUR will not be held liable for missed flights.
If you’ll be able to advise us within 24 hours of a missed flight we do not charge any no show fee, less than 24 hours a full amount fee will be charged on your credit card.

The transfer with pick up at the Airport include 1 hour wait. Any additional time will be charged at the standard hourly rate of 30€. In case you loose your luggage please come outside to advise your driver so that he does not leave without you, and you do not incur any extra costs . The customs police will allow you to re-enter the lost and found zone.

The Rail Stains

The transfer with pick up at the Rail Stations include 1 hour wait. Any additional time will be charged at the standard hourly rate of 30€.


Sharing Tours

The tours and their itineraries can not be changed. As these are sharing tours, we provide them as reported on our website (unless everyone in the group agrees to a change). We recommend our guests to always be on time and to follow our drivers’ suggestions about timing. In this way you will have a fantastic tour and we will be completely sure that there won’t be any complaints or problems.

Once you have joined a tour already open, or after the creation of a new group, your personal data(name, mobile phone, email address) will be shared with the other guests joining your tour. Every time a new guest will join or cancel the tour, you will receive a new automatic voucher, with the guests’ information, the number of participants and the new price you’ll pay per person.
