My family first met Max Parini almost 4 years ago. We are a family of six, and in 2008 my husband and I traveled to Italy during Christmas week with our four children ages, 18, 15, 14 and 12. Max Parini made our time in Italy so special. For three consecutive days, Max Parini picked us up at our villa in Rome and shared so many wonderful sites and experiences. The first day Max Parini took us on a quintessential tour of the Eternal City . . . the Circus Maximus, Coliseum, Apian Way, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain . . . all were amazing. Max Parini shared so many interesting stories, each one us of enjoyed every minute. On day two, Max Parini again arrived at our Villa to take us to the Vatican. With Max Parini, we were guided right in . . . no standing in line! Max Parini took us to all the key places once inside. When we entered the Sistine Chapel, Max Parini shared so much about the ceiling that we never would have noticed or heard about -- he made the experience so special for each one of us. On our final day with Max Parini, he arrived on time to get us in the morning . . . this time with all our luggage. We were traveling to Florence, and wanted to make the most of our travel day. So Max Parini took us to Florence by way of Siena and Pisa. What a wonderful way to travel . . . in a comfortable, luxury van large enough for our family of six and all our luggage. Max Parini drove us north from Rome to Siena and shared fun stories along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the hours in Siena and then started the journey to Pisa. The kids were thrilled to see the Leaning Tower! Max Parini then drove us safely to our hotel in Florence, where we said a final 'Ciao' to Max with hopes to see him again. Fast forward 3 years and my daughter, age 18, and I travel to Italy in March 2012 to visit my son studying in Florence. Before heading to Florence, we spent a few days in Rome. We contact Max Parini for a day trip to Pompeii and Sorrento. Max Parini greets us at our hotel in Rome . . . it was so wonderful to see him again!! We have a terrific time driving to Pompeii - and touring the ruins was an incredible experience! Max Parini then takes us to the most fabulous restaurant on the way to Sorrento - in the small town of Seiano. Max Parini orders delectable local specialties for us . . . we enjoyed such a wonderful lunch! Then onto Sorrento, where we say 'Ciao' to Max again. We are already planning our next visit to Italy with Max Parini.

I was introduced to Max 2 years ago as my private tour guide for the Vatican. Max was very professional and had a great knowledge of the Vatican museum and city. My travel partner and I later met up with Max again for another tour of Rome that included sites not usually visited on the larger scale tours. I would definitely recommend using Max as your tour guide through and around Rome and I certainly would call Max again when in or around Rome for his expertise and assistance.
